Rest doesn't mean complacency
Welcome back to Rest and Resistance at Bergen Kjøtt!
Last year we got ca 25k at our rest and resistance events, money sent directly to a comrade in Gaza, which has distributed the money to families in need!
This months Rest and resistance is in collaboration with Arabisk filmfest!

There will be served food!
All food is donation based, and all income will go directly into aid for our siblings in Gaza.
You can bring food or soft drinks to the table if you want!

ACCESIBILITY
Bergen Kjøtt is an old factory and we are working to create better access roads. We have access from street level, accept service dogs and have toilet facilities available for all genders and adapted for wheelchair users. Visitors with wheelchairs have access to the 2nd floor concert hall through the lift from street level (the side entrance is via a ramp up to a step height of 10 cm; all doors for the route above have a width of at least 90 cm).

Comrades INC: We are a mutual aid fund and activist collective that organizes club evenings, workshops and fundraisers to help queer and trans comrades afford gender-affirming treatments and other essential help around the country. Comrades inc are intersectional feminists, anti-transphobic, anti-capitalist, anti-fascist and work to create safe spaces, meeting places and learning tools for QTBIPOCS, comrades and others who share our opinions and desires for a free and safe future for all!
Arabisk Filmfest: we believe in the power of art and films as tools for social change, for raising awareness, for sparking conversation, and for creating community. This is why it's important for us now to raise the voices of Palestinian filmmakers and to show Palestinian stories. After the screening, stick around and have some food with us as we discuss the film and its themes, such as occupation, colonialism, resilience and liberation.
